"It was very big" would be a classic response, or "Everyone was there, and they had great stories". To have a big warm funeral, and your stories retold over pints, is very much an Irish life goal.

It's fairly common in Dutch too (although the literal translation would ask whether it was beautiful). Good ceremonies bring you close to the person who died one last time and bring you together as a family/community at the same time.
