are meetings opt-in or opt-out? how long on average? are some days or times meeting-free? do you play with the format? what if I walk out?

what happens if I show up to a meeting I saw on someone else's calendar but wasn't invited to? how often are all-hands meetings?

I am super curious about meetings because they are such a microcosm of an entire organizational culture.

(I would LOVE to hear any stories you have about meeting cultures good or bad. recurring meetings are just a long-running experiment!

fwiw, I have a few favorite policies. open invite, vote with your feet. remind people to ask "is this the best use of my time?" often.
