Now that I look more closely. There are nuanced differences, and Apple/Google's solution is better. DP3T has an infected person share a daily key from which all future keys can be derived. DP-3T resets the seed after a notification of infection. The two protocols are actually equivalent in that regard.

Apologies to DP3T if so! I haven't recalled it from the papers, but they're a lot to read. Can still link a person across the days though :( also Google/Apple's strategy of using time-slot derived values greatly reduces the comparisons needed in the app.
