Would you use a terminal based editor that's a cross between 'cat' and 'vi'? Keyboard shortcuts and multi-line editing without taking over the screen or mental context. I do this in fish, and it lets you go up. The reason I’d really like to see this editor though would be to open existing files and edit them inline .. like the demo, with git commit -a
