Listen for that; because that tells you that they actually have humility, and what needs to cultivated is patience and understanding that others aren't as talented or experienced. If instead, you hear sociopathy and indifference, manage out with urgency.

It can also be more effective to deliver the message that "You need to understand that you are more talented than others in this respect. They have other strengths you lack. You need to accept both sides of that."

I’m willing to bet most often this is simply imposter syndrome. Has certainly been true in my case. I actually think imposter syndrome is the underlying cause for many failures in tech- like hiring practices
