After years of liking my QC35s, I bought a pair of Bose 700 noise canceling headphones on spec. 24 hours in, I do think they are better, and IMO they are the best coding and plane headphones! What is the battery life like?
-
It says 20 hours, I'm on day two and so far that seems credible.

They look a bit flimsy on the photo. Are they? What material is the headband made of?
-
They don't feel flimsy at all. I'm not going to try sitting on them, but they feel like they could take it. The headband is some kind of machined metal and an expensive feeling cushion.

How is the Alexa integration, is this something you see yourself using?
-
I doubt I will ever use this. Alexa helps me at home with my lights and audio, but I never use Alexa, or Siri, outside of that context. Feels insane to talk to an invisible robot out in the world.

Do the mics still pickup every sound around you? The QC35s could pick up a pin drop from 50m away.
-
We put a pair of 35s over a pair of 35s and it was surreal. Everything was super quiet, except for the conversation across the room that was clear as a bell.

I’ve been considering a second pair of QCs (as 2 is 1, and 1 is none) but getting these for office and keeping QCs for plane/travel may be the better option. Thanks for timely recommendation!

Cool - sure hope they don't follow late-model QC35s and turn on randomly via Bluetooth and burn batteries; tons of complaints on this and mine started doing it, too - love to see that fixed before spending another few hundred $ on these ...
