Having a burst system doesn’t preclude you from being transparent on guaranteed minimum bandwidth & token accumulation algorithms, right? Eg, the gp2 IOPS and throughput scheme? I say this from the perspective of someone assuming shared positive intent.

FWIW I've never had to care about max network throughput. I agree with Colin, the majority of use cases are not going to saturate network for a long periods of time. What I generally care about is max throughput when I need to quickly replicate shards or download files
