In the original tweet, it's like there's this premise that working at a big company can only be corrupting and corrosive or a conflict of interest with an Open Source project. At least as I read it. But knowing you, I doubt that was the intent meant!

I agree, we should. And we will. But I do not think it is the *only* thing we should do. There is benefit to Amazon, customers, and OSS projects / communities for maintainers to be exposed to the firehose of challenges here. But they are not the only ones in the world.
