Operations people - if you drive, do you drive as a safely as you try to make changes? Or Is it like night and day. Are you a better operator or a better driver? Do you have driving operational tips? What are they? I'll reply with some of mine.

I drive in Seattle but I bought an electric car for the second reason. So I'm part of the problem, but trying ;-)

I'll cycle, drive, or walk. None of these involve waiting, I can just get going, and I feel safer and better in my own space. I grew up taking the 78A in Ballyfermot and have too many memories of clenching while junkies and dirtbags surround. I live on the E line, feels similar.

I realize that reads pretty extreme, but I really resent that history, avoiding eye contact every commute, for fear that some idiot trying to prove something would make you that opportunity.
