Operations people - if you drive, do you drive as a safely as you try to make changes? Or Is it like night and day. Are you a better operator or a better driver? Do you have driving operational tips? What are they? I'll reply with some of mine.

Obvious but under done: Don't tailgate, and leave plenty of space when stopping behind cars, they might roll back, especially if ti's a manual transmission.

Trade-offs: backing into a small area (a parking spot) is more difficult than backing into a large area (the rest of the parking lot)

Grumble at that framework. A potential collision with a moving road user, especially with a pedestrian or cyclist, can have a much more severe consequence than dinging a parked vehicle or wall. It's worth the practice so that never happens.
