#KavanaughConfirmation Please don't use the #metoo
movement as a weapon. Clearly Christine Blasey Ford is being used by the @DNC machine. Women carry enough shame all by ourselves. The allegations are so out of the bounds of what is just and real on so many levels.

Ford is definitely being used by the DNC machine, but why does that discredit her allegations? They seem like the kind of thing that does happen, and so far her story is credible and consistent. Do you know something else?

What happened to Ford happens way more often than reported (like to me). Difference here is the packaging, timing and context. Notification by media. Changing story and conditions. Lacks specifics that could lend itself to an investigation. Trial by media.

I can believe that a person in that situation would wait it out as long they could, in some small hope that they wouldn't have to come forward and deal with the public abuse. She did privately contact her Senator. I hate to assume bad faith on the part of potential victims.

What if Ford is wrong / mistaken for whatever reason? What then?

Well she's asking for the FBI to investigate to confirm or establish what can be established. Also if she lies to them, she'll be in quite a bit of trouble. Seems like she's open to the scrutiny ... it all seems like it could be "just and real" to me.

It's also worth examining the "he said" side of it too. Kavanaugh's own story doesn't really add up. He categorically denies even being there, but admits to periods of drunkeness ... which causes memory loss. He also brazenly and barefacedly lied in his nomination speech.

What was the lie in his nomination speech?

I added them in a reply :) I’m not talking about the supposed perjury - just the sycophantic bullshit.
