I picked about half a week ago and it's being made into pear cider.
@cityfruit picked the rest yesterday and it'll go to a food bank or other city fruit cause!

If you don't prune down the buds actively, the tree will usually over produce one season, then produce very little the next year. I'm in the same boat and do cider every other year... Use champagne yeast!

3 years in a row like this for me! With pruning each year.

My other fruit trees aren't nearly as prolific.
