Café Nervosa has the same color scheme as Starbucks, but definitely not the ambience. And it's supposed to be at 3rd and Pine. Could they have chosen a worse location?

No-one is wearing hiking shoes, the Patagonia/North-Face commuter uniform, grunge clothing. It's only fancy cars too. No Subaru in even a single episode!

Martin Crane does wear Flannel, but it's tucked in! Bulldog lives in a fancy condo, and his favorite sport is ... hockey! None of this makes much sense in Seattle.

A real Seattle episode of Frazier would go something like this: Niles sneakily steals the Kale from Frazier's weekly CSA. Frazier was planning on making the perfect salad for his hiking picnic date in the Olympics. So Frazier has to go to the Farmer's Market to get some ...

Frazier can't find parking, but puts his car in a electric spot near the market for a few minutes, but gets a ticket! This makes him late for the ferry to Kitsap. His date, who is already Kitsap-side, offers to go to Seattle but in some confusion they end up passing each other.

2 Ferry Trips later, it's dark, and they finally rendezvous ... his date is allergic to Kale.

yes: in Seattle Frasier would spell it Frazier. It's hip to be anachronistic. He'd also wear Birkenstocks and canvas shorts, and an iPad with a pencil. It's where he lives, so he'd never miss an opportunity to say "Don't you mean Lower Queen Anne" whenever he hears "uptown".

I wish you both could have seen Seattle 20 years ago...

Was it more like Frasier? I felt there was a pretentious side with the SAM and Opera House etc. And I felt the WAC was very Frasier.

The WAC, the Rainier Club, the Fairmont hotel, Fran's, Canlis, Palisade, Seattle Yacht Club, Overlake Country Club (Eastside), Bravern Mall (Bellevue), Le Caviste, and Purple, Vif (blocks from my house!) would all fit in a Frasier universe. SAM, Opera and Ballet are 50% jeans!

I should add the wineries in Woodinville, the tennis club, the Galleries around Pioneer Square, Beecher's cheese, The Spanish Table, Madison Markets, and a Glassybaby store.

I guess my point is that a whole bunch of those didn’t exist. Many did, and were always more casual than many other cities, but the influx of people in the new industries brought with it an entitlement that didn’t exist. At least in my experience. Which is just one person.
