About 12 years ago, I watched the whole of Frasier, the DVD box set. Because it's hilarious! But now that I'm rewatching episodes after living in Seattle for 8 years, it really is way off about this city.

Café Nervosa has the same color scheme as Starbucks, but definitely not the ambience. And it's supposed to be at 3rd and Pine. Could they have chosen a worse location?

No-one is wearing hiking shoes, the Patagonia/North-Face commuter uniform, grunge clothing. It's only fancy cars too. No Subaru in even a single episode!

Martin Crane does wear Flannel, but it's tucked in! Bulldog lives in a fancy condo, and his favorite sport is ... hockey! None of this makes much sense in Seattle.

Seattle is probably getting an NHL team in the not too distant future, so hopefully that brings more hockey fans to town.

I've prepaid for season tickets! Fingers cross. Hockey is the North American game that is most like Irish hurling, the only true sport, so it'll be nice to have something close.
