About 12 years ago, I watched the whole of Frasier, the DVD box set. Because it's hilarious! But now that I'm rewatching episodes after living in Seattle for 8 years, it really is way off about this city.

The main characters, and most of the incidental ones, are wearing suits, gowns, or cocktail dresses. In Seattle?

Every restaurant seems to be French fine dining, constantly booked, and requires a jacket. Is there even just one restaurant like this in Seattle?

yes: in Seattle Frasier would spell it Frazier. It's hip to be anachronistic. He'd also wear Birkenstocks and canvas shorts, and an iPad with a pencil. It's where he lives, so he'd never miss an opportunity to say "Don't you mean Lower Queen Anne" whenever he hears "uptown".
