    Migrating our repo to Git LFS and oooph is it painful. Git LFS itself is ok, but it not being built into all our tools is a problem.

    Caused some unnecessary pulling of wire this morning. Other devices with built in ethernet have no issue.

    There's a lot of people online complaining about it. I thought it was funny it would negotiate link successfully but get no IP.

    Was testing out jacks with MBP+Ethernet adapter and kept getting self assigned IP. Thought it was jacks, but turns out it was the adapter!

    Host device for the bridge is a Raspberry Pi. Now to just glue this to the HomeKitBridge API...

    Working on a HomeKit bridge for my Trane thermostat. First step: Controlling it from Prompt/NodeJS on my iPad. Super cool!

    Pretty sure when we eventually run to upstairs just going to do one/two runs and an IDF up there. No way I'm running a dozen cables up there

    I also ran Coax to each drop which I'm regretting a teensy bit because all the TiVos stream to each other over Ethernet.
