I hadn't intended to, but it looks like this will be the first part of a two or three part sub-series. Next time I'll be talking about coalitions and citizenry in Oath. After that I want to talk a little about game pacing and how the game ends.

Really though the thing I want to talk about is iteration and process, but that's mostly because that's where my mind is after the massive play-testing spree that happened over
#bggcon2019. I'm sure I'll get to that before too long.Prikaži ovu nit

What is the timeline for retail/Kickstarter(?)/etc.? Thanks!
-
KS will be sometime in Q1. There's a chance it's done at sent by the end of the year, but too early to be sure. Retail will be several months after backers get their copies.

Would you consider it fair to say you enjoy using variable scoring mechanisms and win conditions that potentially render everything the losers have been working towards useless? Root, An Infamous Traffic, Pax Pamir, and now Oath all seem to have something along those lines.
-
I wouldn't put it exactly like that, but I think that's largely true. I tend to prefer games where the terms of victory are themselves subject to contention.
