I was taught in statistics class that misrepresenting stats was normal, a way to push political agendas, legal arguments, sales, etc. The professional liars use statistics to sway the masses who can’t understand math anyways.

First, that white people were surveyed more doesn't matter because this study was done from a pool then stratified afterwards. It wasn't as if they surveyed more white incidents initially - whites were just the target of violent crimes more, which makes sense since there are more
