My documentary on POP-SCI video is gone, months of work, all because this press release is apparently meaningless. Because the system favors overactive claimants, requires no proof or due process. I'm broken dude.pic.twitter.com/Y6MSjaTAGa

This video, a collaboration with several REAL scientists, with interrogation of several books, is *poof*, gone.pic.twitter.com/ru0cNbwdfS
to add insult to injury, with the absence of @YTCreators @TeamYouTube help, I'm going to have to email @washingtonpost , asking for what my crime was, waiting for a their response before I can even counter-notify, since... I can't counter-notify without knowing what I'm defendingpic.twitter.com/k9x36jpCn5
Like, dawg you want me to provide my ADDRESS to some random claimant with literally no timestamp? You want me to provide RATIONALE for what I used, WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT I USED!?!?!? FFS this is BROKEN @YouTubepic.twitter.com/yYanORBjjD
so many people have pointed out that this is VERY likely a spoof WAPO account. Meaning the only reason they are doing this might be to collect my personal information, and I literally have no recourse except to give it to them. So frustrated. No response from Youtube.
Which video was this?
"Pop-Science", woke up today in copyright school.pic.twitter.com/SnQeEjoFqt
Thanks for reaching out. We agree that the uptick in manual claims of very short snippets of content is frustrating--we're actively working on making these claims easier to understand & deal w/. In the meantime, please share the video URL & we'll see what we can find out for you.
Dispute it and tweet @washingtonpost
What video did they strike?
Go to wapo's website and find their email and ask to get in touch with their social team — they'll escalate it to their lawyers, and get the ball moving.
(BBC News manually has claimed me before fwiw)
thanks for the advice, doing this.
