Hey @TeamYouTube what does it mean if the video page shows for example 3.500 views, and the realtime counter in analytics for that video shows 2.500, so a thousand less? It's the situation for me right now, and it's been like this for 10 hours.

From my previous experience with my other YouTube channel, the "realtime" analytics are actually cached periodically. So every now and again they go out of sync for like 24 hours. I guess they go through a period of number crunching? It usually returns to normal in a day or so.

Yeah it's interesting because I've had like 100 views less or a little moree than that for a few hours, but never experienced 1000+ less for 10 hours hah. =) They just responded to this thread too mentioning that this is an issue they've heard of recently.

The numbers always seem a little whacky in the analytics dashboard to be honest. At least that's what I'll tell myself when they're not going up as quick as I'd like.
