just make sure you don't spread misinformation while you're at it. urge people to verify your findings. I've spoken about things I'm not an expert on a couple of times, approaching a concept from a different angle, but I've always made sure people knew it was an experiment/WIP.
Don't let "but I'm not an expert" stop you from publishing and presenting. Sharing and sparking excitement is as - if not more - important than pure facts. Experts can share biases along with their facts and that stifles innovation. Help diversify. We need your voice.

Just look at universities... most of the "doctors" there don't produce anything... they just smash students during final term projects and during the course given that "they know more"
