I didn't even know one could a private MRI ... - my kids are also vaccinated - we don't do homeopathy - we are not afraid to eat Gluten :)

Ahem, none of these. There is not a single picture of my kids shared on the net. I use the built in navigation thingy in my car. I use #duckduckgo on my personal phone. I don't care about my work device.

Same here. However, it made me think. A friend of mine builds bicycles. He and his family ride the nicest bikes w/ great components. What does it say about our profession/industry if we deny so many of its (recent) products?

I also ride nice bikes but even there I wouldn't use an app-operated lock. I also refused the bluetooth controlled saddel they wanted to sell me ;)

I honestly should switch my router to OpenWRT. Not sure how tricky it'd be, though.

Depends quite a bit on the brand.

Same here (except the WLAN AP still runs FreeWRT, and I only turn it on when I need WLAN, and my router is a PC running BSD). In addition, my car was built in 1986, I currently use an 1998 Nokia 6150 as cell phone and a pen-and-paper pocket calendar.

I am a bit frightened by the thought of several computers and lots of software controlling my car, but the safety advances in modern cars far outweigh those risks. (I wouldn't connect my car to the internet though!)
