Hey at least you didn't ignore me, so respect to you in that aspect of it. You clearly won't mind when Stallman finally does the deed.
He's saying (poorly) that if you stopped calling out abuse where you saw it and just shut up, Stallman's abuse would have continued unabated (a good thing, to him.) It's like a burglar yelling at police, "if you just shut up and only ate donuts I'd be rich!"

That's what the "keep your money" bit was. He's saying we don't pay Stallman, therefore we must ignore his abuse of others, which *does* harm the industry.

My empathy for Stallman ends where his abuse of others begins, to badly paraphrase a long-ago American judge. I sympathise with him, but that doesn't mean I'll look away from actions that harm others.
