@defrenz You're right: prefix is better than slice when the start index is 0. I've fixed the article and relevant portions of the code.

@cocoawithlove@owned/@guaranteed is only a hard ABI constraint across modules. Within a module we can do "function signature optimization". -

@cocoawithlove I'd love to see the C++ version without std::shared_ptr or Node's on the heap. Both of those are stupid slow.
