  1. I whine about Xcode a lot, but its ability to drag/drop very complicated things likes storyboard scenes between projects is really amazing.

  2. I appear not be alone in my support of "InPlace."

  3. I'll be speaking at my first conference this September @ try! Swift NYC! Hope to see you! 😀

  4. +1. I'd rather dedicate short, imperative tense names for immutable methods instead of using “it's a verb” to indicate mutation.

  5. I'm sure I'm in the tiny minority, but I'm going to miss the InPlace suffix. I think it's very clear & doesn't make filter a special case.

  6. I keep thinking I want a little modeling amp (like my current Micro Cube) for practice. But I've really loved playing around with Orange.

  7. Gave up on my Vox VT20X. Just too much buzz. Returned it. Now thinking Roland Cube 40GX, but may go other direction w/ Orange Crush 20RT.

  8. Semi-hollow. Too big. Too many knobs. Gretsch. More than I want to spend. "But I love the way it all hangs together."

  9. The heart wants what it wants. Fell in love with a guitar that's everything I didn't want. (But I'm also fickle.)

  10. In reply to

Given the rate that generates interesting blog posts, maybe not kidding about the robot thing. :)

  11. At least this series just requires waiting. Unlike Patrick Rothfuss (hoping) or Daniel Keys Moran (praying).

  12. Last book in the 3 Body Problem trilogy isn’t available in English until September? Can’t learn Chinese that quickly. Have to wait. No!!!

  13. Bought new amp. Buzzed so much, took it back. Store agreed. Said it was definitely broken. Swapped. Brought new one home. Same buzz. ?!?!

  14. When the night includes xScope, it's not going to be my night (I generally avoid fiddly UI development), but such a great tool for the job.

  15. . I have everything in place to implement RNCryptor data format purely in Swift. ha ha hu. this is fun.
