I find the oddest thing in iOS 7 to be the new five-circles cellular signal strength indicator. Unfamiliar and takes up *way* more space.
@gruber surprised Apple didn’t find Carrier information in the status bar irrelevant. You know your carrier. That just takes up space.

@mjtsai same thing with signal. What if that info is suppressed until you need to see it? It's not like you can do anything if its bad.
