My work day has just begun. Every morning I am pre-emptively bored for the day to come. I keep wanting to write short stories to kill time but the anxiety of trying to create something good stops me

Hey that stops me from creating too. I try not to be scared about it but I guess it's just a thing we deal with. Do you work late? I always hated starting work later because it feels like it takes up the whole day. Always prefer early shift after a couple years 1-10

No I work regular hours. Yeah working late def feels like it eats up more of your day cause the time before your shift is "shift anticipatory time" rather than "open freedom time"

100% agree.
So do you still play the ukulele? I feel like if I played an instrument I'd pick that up if I felt bored. Sometimes I want to learn an instrument of some sort.

Ukuleles a great thing to pick up if you feel like trying an instrument. You'll be able to learn a song on your first day with it. I play sometimes but not as often as I used to
