Nick James observing from Chelmsford, UK provided this GIF via Seesat-l of #Change5. Potentially interesting! I heard reports from EU radio observers of signal level variations earlier. Not 100% sure this is the payload and not the final rocket stage. http://www.satobs.org/seesat/Nov-2020/0221.html …pic.twitter.com/ZiPPxfLTHm

It's also occurred to me that rotating the spacecraft like this may be used during burns as the rotation would stabilize things.

I had a more detailed look at the GIF file and there are three flares in the data: 20:44:34, 20:57:49 and 21:06:44 with 60s frames. Timing between them is 795s and 535s +/- 30s. This is within the realm of a BBQ roll or maybe a transient event. Radio data now shows no variation.

Nick James kindly provided a full period light curve of the event which you can also find on his website. He was observing 47097

Hi Scott, here is some signal amplitude data for the 8463.673MHz downlink as it was on the 24th Nov. I can give you the peaklog file if you want to analyse some more.pic.twitter.com/yccgB8nkro

Thanks Paul, based on further observations over here we believe the event was transitory.
