13 hours sitting in a cramped airplane seat can lead to deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and heart attacks. No one should applaud a flight of this length without understanding the risks.
-
Nonsense. It's done all the time. Ever been in bed with a cold?

I don’t know what your best looks like LOL, but mine allows me to keep my legs in a straight out position with lots of room to stretch them. Huge difference between that and a cramped airline seat! Google “sitting for a long time.”
