You can say absolutely anything you want, but the fact stands: if neither man had a gun, nobody would've gotten shot.

He would've used a different weapon and then no one would've been able to stop him. A Molotov cocktail is really easy to make and could do a lot of damage really quickly. So if he went in and threw 2 Molotov cocktails he could've killed a lot more people. Or used his car.

So why aren't there any Molotov cocktail attacks now? Why do most killers choose guns?

Because it's glorified in the news. It's easy for your face to plastered all over the news cycle if you use a gun. Copy and pasted attacks. The more shootings that are given time on the news cycle, the more it will "inspire" psychos to do them. They think they will have a legacy.

Nice theory, but I think it is because 1) guns are designed to kill 2) they are easy to get and use Look at the countries with strict gun laws - no Molotov cocktail attack problem there. Knives and cars may be used, but still nothing compared to the US gun deaths.

With some common sense gun laws, no one would have been shot, injured or killed.

You can get rich by developing who the “wrong” people are. Could be used in dating, hiring, really every walk of life...good luck in your noble endeavor. I’ll be here with a gun to protect my family in case the “wrong” person comes through my door

So for every *let's say* 50 mass shootings there's 1 instance where a good guy with a gun does something and that somehow justifies loose gun laws?

Good guys with guns stop many shootings from ever even happening, therefore they aren’t reported by cnn and therefore the only thing you hear is about shootings where no one stops it

Yes, we have a gun ban in México and the way things are going I would sure as hell would like to have the option to defend my family. Only bad guys are armed here, and they are armed to the teeth.

Also in Mexico there were about 23 murders per 100,000 in 2017..and that was what was reported..not counting the truck fulls of people buried and never seen again

Your statistics are disingenuous. Many US suicides are by guns, Mexicans can’t guns, yet still commit suicides. You’re lumping suicide into violent crimes, and trying to pass it off as gun violence. The correct statistics is gun murders which Mexico far surpasses us.
