But the obvious question is, then why did he pay her $130,000?

Payouts like that are used to protect reputation, whether the act was done or not, a payout may be given in adhering w/ a NDA to protect from slander. It seems that Daniels is breaching her agreement and would likely be sued for slander. Currently everything is heresay, no facts
-
But considering Trump’s history of infidelities, Stormy’s claims are obviously more believable

Oh, there will always be Russia

So he paid her $130K for what? An investment? Patreon? Kickstarter?

His rep as *what?* Even without his own bragging, he's known as a serial philanderer. What? Are porn stars suddenly beyond the pale?

He’s a president and part of a mega corporation, both of which use large investors. Reputation is important. I’m sure Daniels is just trying to bring attention to herself because of the dying career. You should see what she charges per “interview”
-
He was part of a large mega corporation when he split with Marla Maples via TV news. Trump has always been garbage; he's just never had to try and hide it.
-
That’s your opinion, but his name is still on many hotels. Many investors $ are tied to that as well. There’s no point in slander campaigns without facts.
-
What slander? We're dealing with facts. He slept with Stormy Daniels. He paid her $130K to keep quiet about it. And then ran his mouth when the media found evidence of said affair, violating an NDA (which he never signed, BTW) Go ahead and tell me how that isn't true.
-
You’re assuming he slept with her, you’re taking the rumors to be fact on pure hearsay. Your logic is very flawed Financial incentives to stop a slander campaign on a politician and any other high ranking individual is common.

Besides the admitted payments and him repaying Michael Cohen...

130000 reasons to believe otherwise.

Interesting take KellyAnne... she said they did have an affair, also the 19 women who say he has sexually assaulted them say he did that too and I have no reason to believe otherwise.
-
I just love how Bill Cosby gets accused and convicted of sexual assault, but Donald trump gets accused, doesn’t get formally charged, but somehow ends up POTUS. I feel like I’m living in the Twilight Zone

Remember that time when we had a president who never needed a special prosecutor?

No he need one, just did not get one. Yet!
