Glad this is happening. We have to move forward and not backwards. We have to look at all possible ways to try to slow the pollution and killing of this beautiful planet.

Then sell your car and walk.
-
Really that’s all you have. Hmmm gee let’s just pass the laws to make cars cleaner etc. it’s not rocket science
-
Drive the price up another 15,000$ maybe on a cheap car... hell.. make the car run on a chainsaw engine. I had one on a mini bike. Must have got 200 mpg with it.. but oh.. only me. Sorry.. your family must walk
-
No we don’t however we do drive very fuel efficient vehicles and I carpool with my co worker so i drive every other week we are doing our part to minimize how much we drive
-
That's nice.. as you should if you can. But I don't live in a city. So i drive a gas sucking 4x4 that has to carry a lot of stuff everyday. Maybe they should make a mandate to get a nice round 100mpg car. 200? Who knows.. maybe one day we can just go on for ever.. wild I know

Every friggen State that gives a hoot about their residents health should be suing. If you don't care, than do nothing, and thats exactly what you can expect next election.

Lol. States suing the Feds because the Feds aren't strict enough? I'm not sure if these people understand how Legislation works.
-
When our Gov prioritizes rolling back environmental regulations to favor big polluters, we have to let them know we won't stand for it.
-
Also, the way the law works: If your state thinks you need a law that doesn't exist under federal statute (because federal laws overrule state laws due to the supremacy clause) That state just has to pass their own law, regulating pollution. You don't sue the Feds. That's silly.
-
Yes, CA has very strict pollution laws, but if you've been paying attention, the reason Ca is suing the Gov, is because Trump/Pruitt want to invalidate state pollution laws that are stricter than theirs.
#DrainTheSwamp -
That's the supremacy clause in effect. They will have to re-write their laws. They can be more strict than the federal law, but not after a federal deregulation. Clearly you weren't paying attention in Law School.
