You know when this would never happen to you? When you stayed with an animal free diet. Aka vegan. So, yes, another reason to go vegan. Nobody said it’s easy but it’s worth your health.

There was a multi-state E. coli outbreak tied to romaine lettuce last week
-
Good point. I’ll take an air sandwich to go then. Is it just our country That has high incidences of Food mishandling? I know we’re not the only ones but I’m wondering if it’s the
#usda that needs some tightening up -
The USDA can only make the regulations. It's up to the producers to follow them properly. Just like regular laws, there will always be some who break them. With the mass scale with which our food is being produced there are some things that are bound to sneak through the cracks.
-
It isn't that we have more mishandling, it's that we know about it more.
-
Truth...and that makes it worse. Change starts with questioning, 1st & foremost. What’s next? The food & water supply for our country are a health hazard,to boot!

I think this is the biggest egg recall since 2010. Did you know salmonella gets in our food through animal feces, so even when it shows up on fruits/vegetables, that's still because of animal agriculture?https://twitter.com/cnnbrk/status/985528770345029632 …

It's not a "farm" if it produced 200,000,000 eggs. In what conditions do they keep those birds?
-
I knew a lady who worked in a hen factory in http://morristown.tn . She said it was really nasty. Says wont eat another egg, ever!
-
Heartbreaking that we should require suffering from the innocent that sustain us

The "farm" -- the chickens would have an opinion about that -- is actually located in North Carolina. Corporate HQ is in Indiana.

My wife and I tried launching a fried chicken franchise but nobody came, don't know why? Now, 'Sam and Ella's Fried Chicken' is just a distant memory......
