Interesting how the so-called mainstream media lost interest in this story when it was determined the perpetrator WASN'T Muslim.....

By 'German citizen' we must ask whether or not he is native born to the country, or an immigrant. If the latter is the case, we must inquire his origins and religious precepts. I will reserve judgment for the time being, but certain patterns tend to repeat themselves as of late.

Sorry, but it looks he is a native born German with no Islamic background at all.

Yes, it would seem his name is 'Jens R'. Details on him will likely be revealed in the coming days. He also had access to a firearm, and committed suicide afterwards. Sounds like another law enforcement failure considering an aforementioned mental illness, similar to Parkland.

It's quite aggravating that law enforcement (both within the States and in the EU) often have prior knowledge about those with mental illnesses and how they may a pose a danger to themselves or others around them, and nothing is done about them until they got out and kill people.

That's because there is no law against being mentally ill, nor should there be one to lock you up. Here is quite a bit of background information:https://www.welt.de/vermischtes/article175256084/Amokfahrt-von-Muenster-Jens-R-hat-seine-Tat-offensichtlich-perfide-kalkuliert.html …

I think that's what we have asylums for, so people who are dangers to society don't threaten others or themselves. He definitely shouldn't have had access to a firearm given his mental illness. I can't read the article you posted, it's all in German.
