There is no such thing as a "perjury trap." You either tell the truth or you lie. You go in knowing you are supposed to tell the truth, period.

Yeah, but we're talking about Trump.
-
Oh you will get no argument from me there. The man is a pathological liar. He can't help himself. Most of his injuries are self-inflicted because he literally must follow every semi-normal, half truthful sentence with a lie. Being asked to tell the truth still isn't a trap.
-
And if your whole life is foundation ally a lie you really have nothing else to offer up
-
Or said another way if he tells the truth he is going to jail and if he lies he is going to jail.
-
It is a nice thought but let's be realistic. Trump isn't going to jail. Best case scenario is he is out of office and ostracized. Even if a slam dunk case is made against him, he can literally pardon himself or have his VP do it like Nixon did. Unfortunate but true.

There's a great strategy for avoiding a "perjury trap". It's called telling the truth.

Why do Trump's supporters always broadcast that he's got something to hide when they talk about how unfair it would be for him if he talked to Mueller? They're all so weak and fragile, but desperate to seem tough. It's embarrassing to even be associated with them by nationality.

Only if he lies
-
So, only if he opens his mouth?
