Really bro? It's the company's policy. You can't sue over that

That's like a 19 year old suing because a bar won't serve them alcohol. I didn't see anyone telling Dick's that their new policy is age discriminating

-
No, it's like a 19 year old suing for a store policy that violates of a Constitutionally guaranteed right to bear arms (see DC v. Heller)... States have set drinking age limits all on their own after passage of the Nat'l Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/District_of_Columbia_v._Heller …

No, the law says they can buy. Has nothing that says a store must sell. Also they're a private company they can age-gate anything they want. They just can't make it less than the law.

The same people that rally behind a bakers constitutional right to not to provide services for a same-sex wedding, demand that they have a right to merchandise that a seller refuses to provide them. You can't have it both ways.
-
it's not even the same argument.Evangelivals insist that a baker be allowed to deny a service to gay ppl that they provide to straight ppl. Dick's is saying they won't sell ANY assault rifles to anyone, and there's is simply a business decision. The two are not the same.
-
An argument could be made on age discrimination - but it's the same with alcohol or tobacco. I agree, that this is far less discriminatory than the cake situation.
-
It's not the same as tabacco and alcohol because those sales are mandated by laws. If a company said they'd only sell booze to people age 30 and up then it would be the same kind of case.

The next time a bartender refuses to sell because a patron appears too intoxicated they should just sue
