I think that there is a trend towards rapid FDA and EMA approval. People with serious disease would generally prefer for everything to be approved, and they want to decide whether or not to accept the risks of treatment.

how was it ever released? surely there must be extensive, exhaustive testing before hand! I always find this kind of news shocking, do they fudge the results to get it on the market to make $$$$ is that all that really matters anymore, has life lost all its value to corporations?
