The 'Right' to keep and bear arms only applies to people in a 'Well regulated' militia...All others have no 'Right' Ban all guns now...Save the children....

Might want to brush up on some constitutional law and history. I’ll help: US Supreme Court case District of Columbia v. Heller. And for your history portion, look up what was considered to be a “militia” back when they wrote the constitution.pic.twitter.com/DQnQWMlmdo

Look up what was considered to be “arms” when they wrote the constitution.
-
They were referring to modern weapons. I’m assuming this is why they didn’t list it as “sword”, “musket”, or “cannon” since they knew modern weapons change but the definition of “arms” does not. I also hear these guys were pretty intelligent

-
I wonder how they'd feel about our modern weapons. I don't think they even dreamed of weapons of this level.
-
Actually yes they had, a little research and you would actually know that!
-
They thought guns and people should be property... so maybe let’s make some changes.

The right to bear arms was added to the Constitution around 2 years after the original was released. The Constitution has been amended 27 times to meet the changing needs of American society. It can be amended again.
-
Hence the word amendment. Thank you! It literally means change i feel like im taking crazy pills when people say you can't alter the consitution FFS it was amended!

It brings me a renewed sense of pride seeing an engaged American audience supporting those affected by gun violence. Americans need to fight to change their country by excercising their democratic rights. No vote = a vote for the other person.

Deflect, deflect, deflect. Hey
@DLoesch , answer the question. Why does the right to bear arms supercede the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? It's not a hard question to answer, well, except for the NRA. Hint: it doesn't. -
My possession of guns of any kind does not infringe on your right to life, liberty or your pursuit of happiness. And one day I may even have to defend those rights for you with said weapons.... you have to think of more effective ways to protect and care for people
-
What would your solution be? Serious question.
-
Yeah, extreme but kids are safe and can concentrate on school. Then parents need to stop medicating kids and be parents, teach some basic respect and empathy
-
Why do you think you would have to defend me?
-
Actually a person could reasonably choose bot to defend you and stand back and let someone attack you if you prefer that. At least it would be 100% gun free!
-
Oh, I see. Why do you assume I'm incapable of defending myself?
-
Cause clearly your incapable of alot of things! But since your shinobi the ninja I guess we can just watch you dish it out with the other mass knifers. Ludacris pointless conversation with baiting. Done with you!
