No they aren't. This is alarmist on your part. People join & get info on gun safety, use, professionals, etc. This is crazy talk. No one mentions the people who reported perp & FBI did 0. I could say terrorist FBI knew & let it happen, & that would be overreaching. Or would it?

When are these people going to realise that "less weapons" isn't going to fix this. America has a unique social sickness.

Here's one for you, it's a solution and it worked so do you want to argue with success?pic.twitter.com/L7SYGmx2h1

Unbelievable. This sheriff needs to loose his job! This happened under his watch after numerous notifications to his depart. and calls to local Soc. Serv. Floridians are getting this wrong-blame Trump, the FBI, the NRA. Do they really believe criminals will obey their gun laws?
-
Loose his job? Is it too tight?

the way the crowd behaved was shameful. you don’t need to agree with someone to treat them with respect.
-
Exactly why many say “now is not the time”.. because when feelings / emotions are raw... ppl aren’t rational... this notion should certainly apply to law making.
-
But...mass shooting happen all the time now. When is the right time? A 3 day lull? A 1 week lull? A 2 week lull? No one on the Right wants to answer that question because they never want it to be the right time.
-
The right time would be when people are thinking rationally... Not booing & interrupting, so freshly filled with grief that they are incapable of truly listening ... nothing gets resolved that way... no productive conversation can happen that way..... that’s “parenting 101”
-
i agree that the crowd was too overcome with grief, but the time for action is now. rubio was right, americans have a 7 day attention span

Have to say that this town hall did not serve that community well tonight. I think they lost support instead of gained. Which is too bad.. Think listening session earlier at WH was so more productive toward opportunity for making change.
-
I don’t think they lost support. I was yelling at the tv because Dana did nothing but blamed the flawed background system. I get the system is flawed but she didn’t do a good job of providing ideas for change, she just kept on deflecting the questions and blamed mental illness.
-
The format of the town hall really didn't give any opportunity to talk about ideas. Earlier in the day at listening session it was a father of a dead child that brought up idea of arming teachers. Not sure I support that but it became a Trump thing to Jaker and audience.
-
They are grieving and angry. Understandable. So I think from a standpoint of letting audience vent it served a purpose in their healing process. As toward a real debate, never got there on any of the participants.
