That may assuage our rage at his horrific crime in the moment, but I'd argue that it does us a disservice to dehumanize him. He is a human who perpetrated great evil. We need to understand how he got that way—not to condone or justify it, but to prevent it in the future.

Very articulate observation. I agree with you. I happen to have 2 boys in school still so the outpouring of foul language u may read 'myself included' is just pure emotions and adrenaline. Bottom line it has to stop. It starts w the NRA funding killings

Naturally he will. There’s really nothing he could say to justify a not guilty plead. What lawmakers need to begin implementing is a torture law. Anyone who commits mass murder should be sentenced to torture then death.

Really inappropriate right now!!! Really!! Have you been personally affected by what just happened in our community?! Because civilians should be walking around with assault weapons!!!?? Common sense! It’s a wonderful thing!!

Very appropriate!! Very true.Schools have to have 1 entrance &everyone is patted down; scanners; teachers patted too; everyday. Guard at door. Airports do it; stadiums do....about time the schools get serious & protect our children! Raise my taxes. I stand with our children!!!

What was he planning to plead to
... of course he's guilty .. everyone knows he's guilty ... he shouldn't even go to court in the first place ... he should just be sentenced to life imprisonment -
There are many eyewitness reports of a second shooter.
