He's doing EXACTLY what
@Aetna wanted him to do - increase its profit margin by denying claims. He just got lazy and took a shortcut. Put blame where blame is due: for-profit greedy private insurance companiespic.twitter.com/mR1ebWQE3h

Greed and profits over patient care. What will the US do next
-
The administration removed the insurance regulation boards. They can do what they want now without fear. It will take forever for Congress to catch up to them.

This is outrageous. I seriously doubt this is a one-time
@Aetna "rogue" director acting unethically. We need the for-profit insurance industry out of heathcare. Time for#MedicareForAll -
Then you (we) need another way to fund campaigns.

Absolutely

And obscene CEO salaries, although they would tell you that they'd make a lot more in other industries. Far as I'm concerned, all CEO salaries & total compensation packages for the big corps are obscene. Especially when you compare them to the stagnant wages of most Americanspic.twitter.com/jmCqcKzwEQ

Poor people pay these salaries with riduculous monthly premiums. People don't won't government to regulate this but somebody need to stop these grifters. These salaries should be illegal. People complain about an athelete's salary who risk his health for your sport.

I think it started around Reagan’s time, with emphasis on financialization & shareholder value; not production. Jobs went offshore, unions impaired, employee benefits reduced, etc. Stagnant 4 workers, skyrocketing $$ for 1%. This has bad historic precedents.

An insurer's interests are directly in conflict with their paying customers'. The less they provide in return for premiums, the more they make. Insurance should be, at the very least, a nonprofit industry.

Time for these greedy middlemen to be relegated to the history books. These folks are the real death panels. Time to change the game. We are all losing.

America's health care system needs to be completely overhauled.
