literally nowhere does the guy mention race. he just feels it couldve been done different, but nothing is more indifferent than a coin toss so he must be a premadonna

But what does that have to do with the issue at hand? The context of how he used it isn’t great.

Nothing. Thats my point. He may be being childish, but you cant assume his implications. Its damning that its in there, but correlation does not equal causation

It’s not correlation or causation. It’s context in writing. We’re not running a statistical analysis here, were reading and connecting the context to the words.

How about Lindsey Vonn? 3 Olympic teams, 2 gold medals. Shani has only been to two Olympics... He seems like a petulant child now... Always playing the race card...

With that attitude and playing the race card. Last person you want having the honour of flag bearer.

How do you a coin flip "dishonorably"? Show your work. I'll wait.

As I read it his point was that going to the flip instead of acknowledging his greater claim was dishonorable, i.e. they messed up and covered it up by going with a coin toss.

I might be wrong here, but I believe they've settled it this way in the past. Or was this the first time? Also, "acknowledge my superiority" isn't a good look for anyone.
