Why are the COPS trying to blame his death on. The caller? IF THE COPS WERE TRAINED PROPERLY THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!

What you're saying is the caller is innocent?
-
Just because the COPS KILLED an UNARMED INNOCENT man doesn't relieve the caller of his culpability in the incident, but he did NOT kill the man....the improperly trained COP did!!!!!
-
This caller is someone that deserves prison time...he has a history of this. Because of him a full stadium had be to evacuated.... If he never called this wouldn't have happened

How does an innocent man with no hostage get killed by police?

Trigger happy that's how

Please read the article. And remember that police don’t want to die. And the people they are talking to don’t want to die. This means that there is adrenaline everywhere. It’s really easy to call the game when you’re not playing it. Blame the caller.
-
No winners in a situation like this. Especially the police. Damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

Ok so the cop came in and shot the first thing he saw? what if that person was the hostage? Cops are poorly trained...but hey US is a police state...continue to be a laughing stock to the world

This description makes it sound like the "swatting" killed an unarmed innocent man instead of the police who shot him.
-
The reason "swatting" even exists is that people know how potentially dangerous encounters with police can be & idiots use that to endanger people they have personal issues with.
-
This is so true. People know police are so gun-ho, untrained,& trigger happy that it can be used against other citizens. But of course police will never self evaluate that angle.
-
There's no one holding them accountable except other cops who agree so they won't change.
-
Also the "blue line" is a real thing. Cops who do report bad behavior risk putting themselves in danger. I don't have a solution but the current policing infrastructure is definitely broken.
-
I agree with all of this. It's especially problematic that everyone knows about that thin blue line & just accepts it.
-
Especially considering how adament they were against the "stop snitching" code in the neighborhoods they worked. Just hypocrisy all around.
-
Just another example of how the law doesn't seem to apply to them & people with the power to change that don't care to.
