Where were the parents? My 3 year old would never be out of my site long enough to do anything like this. She certainly wouldn’t be playing with a stove.

The same question here. This was no accident, this was negligence. A child should never be left alone.

He also had a history of playing with the stove. This should never have happened and that mother is negligible. She could have and should have taken steps so the child cannot access the stove. The city should go after her for damages.

Close by. It was too late when the mother realized what was happening. It was an accident. It turned into a tragedy. Feel for the family’s. Quit playing the blame game.

“The boy in the first-floor apartment had a history of playing with the stove burners”, Nigro said. And yet there was no parental supervision, great parenting! Hopefully they make that child’s parents take parenting classes, they’re just as responsible for those deaths!!

Not only that but the mom leaving the door open as she fled made the fire spread. Should be arrested
