I was under the impression they swear specifically to not follow unlawful orders. If the order was illegal, wouldn’t he be dutybound to not follow it?

One of the first things your taught in the military is you are not required to follow unlawful orders...

Correct me if I am wrong, I think this has always been a part of the" fail safe" plan if and when a nuclear code were to be launched. It is not supposed to be easy.

The trials at Nuremberg addressed this. Soldiers are not robots. They do not pledge allegiance to POTUS, but to the Constitution.

The fact that this conversation is even occurring is frightening. This shows that there is genuine concern amongst the military &allies.

I just wonder if that concern would arise before or after Trump pushes the button. It would most likely be in retaliation of a mean tweet someone sent out. Lucky we lived through the Dotard Scare of '17. This man has no business being #POTUS.
