terrorist, not gunman

We don't know if the attack was politically motivated, therefore we can't define it as terrorism at this time.
-
How would you define it? I'm honestly wondering how the death of 50 and injures of over 200 isn't define as terrorism??
-
Mass murder. Terrorism is motivated by politics.
-
But that won't be ever know, because the coward killed people and then killed himself. There's no justice, either way.
-
I'm sure there will be information that reveals whether the motivation was political or just a sicko that wanted to hurt people.

Can you tell us... why 2 windows?
-
To get another angle maybe?
-
That’s gotta be a different room. Did he have a second room? Or, end of hallway? It’s weird.
-
This is a "Vista Suite" the murderer was in. The rooms windows are far apart, the room is around 1700 sq ftpic.twitter.com/ZfuJpZ8UOd

I'm surprised there isn't an alarm on these buildings when a window is broken? these hotels have a freaking alarm in their mini fridge?
#Sad -
Would an alarm have really made a difference?

That would have to be a HUGE suite of rooms for those to be in the same rental unit, wouldn't it?

Everyone has go through security clearance. What was the hotel's security doing that day??
-
Hotel security doesn't work like airport security, does not check bags ... From what I heard this hotel doesn't have metal detectors either.
-
At least some measures should be taken in this regard to stop such unfortunate evets happening in the future
-
I agree. As a hotel manager I'd like to see more security features normalized and made easy throughout the industry worldwide.
