He only waived it because he was starting to get some bad press. Don’t be fooled.

Why would you never see any good in a man who only wants the best for the American people, I am not sure if you are doing better as a human
-
The “best” for Americans would be to do whatever is necessary - including Jones Act. He waited DAYS while people suffered! Where’s the good?
-
been there for days trying to clear roads and setup areas for these people to get the goods being delivered. Waiving the Jones Act does
-
If it doesn’t help then why did he waive it after bad press - which is my point? It does help, otherwise it wouldn’t be an issue.
-
Well like you said, do whatever is necessary, so he removed the Act to help. No one was suffering because it was in place.
-
Ha! No one was suffering? Costs $500mill/yr to country in 11yr recession! Yes, I think they’ve suffered from it.
-
So they should be apart of US but not follow the same laws? The Act keeps jobs and workers in US. It’s not a tax

@realDonaldTrump Punish PR by putting us in the corner. -
I honestly wonder if this is a strategic ploy to force PR into Statehood Makes no sense why they did it so quickly for TX &FL but not PR
-
Because it's cheaper to bury people than to help them rebuild

Nothing official yet..is just word of mouth...to be official CBP "JADE" team must issue a official letter from CBP citing the law....
-
And then it will be circulated by CBP port office.
