In the long run, they'll lose. However, they could cause a lot of death and destruction before we react.

We are so distracted. Wake up everybody.
-
Wake up and what? Trust this administration to handle it?
-
Because I don't have any faith that they can or will handle it in an effective way
-

They can't fire submarine launched missiles a decade away from that
-
They tested one last year. http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/09/asia/north-korea-submarine-missile/index.html …
-
Submarine based it failed too I'm talking about being submerged and firing an icbm
-
It launched successfully, failed mid flight. They have made a great deal of progress with missles over the last year. No way they're 1/
-
a "decade away", even if they likely don't have a reliable one now. 2/2
-
NK nowhere near a Trident sub-launched ICBM capability. Popping missile from sub one thing. Delivery on intercontinental target another.
-
They don't need Trident level capability to sail close and hit Guam, or Japan, or SK.
-
Agree that one can pop a missile & hope it comes down somewhere. Doesn't mean NK has positioning accuracy to allow targeting accuracy.
