This is why the tactics need to change. Even known criminals don't deserve being shot in the back, and this was the wrong man. Shameful.

Criminals don't deserve to be shot in the back? Debatable.

You're right it's debatable. The people who framed the constitution thought even people suspected/accused of a crime deserved a fair trial.

A trial that could result in death penalty, that'd be fine. Death penalty is mostly gone now, so are people really being trialled fairly?

Why would any rational person support the death penalty? Wrongful convictions are inevitable and you can't revive a dead guy. Case closed.

Wrongful convictions are first not that common and becoming even less frequent with DNA testing and all the cameras in today's society

Until the number of wrongful convictions is a rock solid zero, how can we support death penalty?

Death penalty is only pursued for hence acts when there's no question of doubt that the person did it anyway. It's not arbitrary

Police should hunt and capture criminals. Doctors should save the life of an injured criminal and the courts should administer the justice.
