This is the type of thing Trump's anti Muslim rhetoric causes

So if we had
@HillaryClinton as POTUS right now, and only Jeb ran for POTUS, this nutcase would've been attending a DNC fundraiser tonight? -
Maybe if Trump had never run, a kid wouldn't have become radicalized by his bigoted rhetoric & wouldn't have slaughtered 6 Canadians.
-
Doubtful. But even if we say that was the case, do we ban right wing speech to keep it from happening again?
-
Canada has hate speech laws. The US could try adopting that.
-
We have free speech. I'll take that any day. Words hurt no one. Actions do. Control your actions, share your ideas.
-
Free speech is constitutionally protected in Canada. So is equality & multiculturalism. Can't protect one right at the cost of other rights
-
Free speech is not protected if hate speech laws exist. If there is approved and unapproved speech, there is not free speech.

this is kind of stuff that trump encourages. when you promote hate, you inspire others to do the same.
-
There weren't this much hate and attacks after 9/11 because W. for all his faults made sure not to demonize Muslims
-
absolutely. he worked hard with different religions to promote inclusiveness and acceptance w/ each faith!

See.. the travel ban won't stop the sort of terrorists this country has.
-
So if we can't stop ALL attacks why bother trying to stop any?
-
Oh, the FBI usually manages to catch all of the white supremacists stockpiling pipe-bombs every year. But travel bans aren't part of that.

I doubt Trump will mention this terrorist attack. Sad!
-
How was this a terrorist attack? Sounds like a mental nut case.
-
So if it's someone claiming to be a Muslim, then it's a terrorist attack; but if a white Christian does it, then he's mentally ill?

-
It's just like if it's a black person, they're a thug. White privilege is real.
